René-Jean Dard and François Ribo have been making exceptional Northern Rhône wines since the early 1980s.  While displaying all the finesse, enthralling qualities, and ageing potential of the region, these are wines that are made to be enjoyed young.  The cult-like following they have garnered ensure bottles never stick around for very long... 

Originally from villages located across the Rhône from one another, Dard and Ribo became friends at winemaking school in Beaune.  Starting on a hectare of Saint-Joseph inherited from Dard's father, the two gradually expanded into the Crozes and Hermitage appellations as well.  Among the first in the region to reject the use of sulphur and other manipulations, they have always been uncompromising in making the wines they want to drink.  Four decades on, they have dedicated fans around the world.  Once you've experienced the smoothness, complexity, and balance of these wines, it's easy to understand why!
